Van started Business Communication Systems of Illinois, Inc. in November 1991. He has an extensive background in the computing industry that includes experience in enterprise networking, enterprise computing, software development and technical consulting services. Van has a master’s degree in Industrial Technology and over 25 years of experience in business management, including 12 years with Digital Equipment Corporation as Software Services Corporate Account Manager for Caterpillar, worldwide. Van incorporated the company in May 1992, and has continued to grow the company in size and business scope as vendor and customer partnerships have been formed and expanded. Although Van is rarely very far away from the heartbeat of his business, he enjoys escaping for quality time with his family.

Debra Perry, Controller

Debra became a member of the BCS team in 1994, starting as an administrative assistant/bookkeeper. Her prior experience with The Kroger Company formed a solid foundation in customer service, as well as in the financial side of business. She has since added CPA to her talents to compliment the BCS management team. Debra enjoys working with the customers and is always striving to exceed their expectations.
